Food try-outs
So I think wheat may be back on the table. I ate wheat pizza crust for three days and a hamburger on a bun and have lived to tell the tale. I've also had an egg yolk twice a day for the past two days and am also still alive... things are looking good. However, I still can't bring myself to buy sliced bread yet. It's too weird, too scary and will dampen my weight loss plan.

Allergies update
So I ate almost half a vegan pizza from Mississippi Pub today for lunch and dinner. Vegan pizza, not gluten-free. So far I have not died yet but I'm not holding my breath. It was delicious. I'll be eating more tomorrow!

Epic Fail
So as I was serving myself up some more delcious mac n' cheese I realized my stomach is still upset from what I thought was going out to eat on Friday night. Four days of it though... is a little much. So I took that $6 cheese out of the fridge that I bought at whole foods only to find that is has casein in it (the milk protein I'm allergic to). That's what my over-distended, ouchy belly has been trying to tell me. So I dumped my $$$ mac n' cheese in the trash. Dammit.

Well...
So now I'm also allergic to a milk protein-casein which means cheese is no-go too. AND my peanut and almond allergy was re-evaluated and came back positive. Kinda sucks because I ate peanuts and dairy all week. More adjustments. BUT I am 6 POUNDS lighter since two weeks ago so... cheers!

-I'm gonna really, really miss you. But in Albuquerque it's $8/lb. so it's probably a good thing.
I have decided that goat milk and cheese is ok. The casein protein is different and there is much less of it in the milk. Goat cheese will also be a good, alternative sandwich-spread to mayo, since I'm still not the biggest fan of mustard.

Well, I'm allergic to:
Whey (an additive in ice cream for example), egg white, egg yolk, coffee (jesus is a hater), banana, blueberry, cranberry, pineapple, oyster (blech-not real upset), wheat (gluten and gliadin), pecan, sesame, spelt, whole wheat, asparagus, chili pepper and kamut (a grain).
Yuck!

I'll miss you.

Outside, I'm also allergic to:
Trees, English walnut, juniper, sweet gum, grass, fescue, plantians, weeds, ragweed, greer cat, dogs, feathers, MOLD, smut, dust mites, greer dust, and the American cockroach.
Mold and dust and that cockroach are the worse. Whuppee
Yikes!

Allergies
So I went to see an Allergist today to inquire why I've had constant hives for the past two months. She went ahead and did EVERY test on me at once. Two hours later I had had my forearms pricked 16 times, my upper arm pricked another 14 times and blood drawn from each arm because the first one failed.

You can still see the numbers that were drawn on.
RESULTS: I swelled up like a balloon. You could have fried an egg on me, I was cooking. So we found out that I'm allergic to everything but, the german cockroach-whuppee. So" dust, pollen, weeds, grass, trees, mold, cats, dogs, etc." I tested positive to everything. Neat.
