More Red Things!

More red things. I'll never get over lovin' 'em. Perhaps my first nursing paycheck purchase will be the red kitchenaid mixer...

Allergies

So I went to see an Allergist today to inquire why I've had constant hives for the past two months. She went ahead and did EVERY test on me at once. Two hours later I had had my forearms pricked 16 times, my upper arm pricked another 14 times and blood drawn from each arm because the first one failed.

You can still see the numbers that were drawn on.
RESULTS: I swelled up like a balloon. You could have fried an egg on me, I was cooking. So we found out that I'm allergic to everything but, the german cockroach-whuppee. So" dust, pollen, weeds, grass, trees, mold, cats, dogs, etc." I tested positive to everything. Neat.

PIE!

Jackie came over and we made pie! We ended up making two punkins and two apples. One is punkin/sweet potato and one it punkin/walnut. WAY too much fun-speaking of, Jackie looked in the oven, giggled, and said, "I think it's on fire." Sure enough, I had forgot to put the drip pan underneath the drippy apple pies and they had caught on fire. So the entire bottom of the oven was on fire and I was just thinking how I don't have a fire extinguisher. So I ran to the pantry and grabbed the baking soda. Jackie and I timed it so she threw open the oven and chucked baking soda on the flames. Pies were saved and now... I just have a messy oven. Cheers!

What's that on the bottom of the oven? Oh yea, baking soda to smother the flames.

Mmmmm, and that punkin one too.

Poison... Posion Ivy

Awww the process:

Lots of supplies: greenery, tights, shorts, etc.

Boots, jewelry, arm bands, etc.

The hair-a 24 hour process and a half a can of hair spray.

Ta da!

Oh the poisonous kiss! Stay back!

Happy Halloween!

Oh, what a wonderful time. Here are the housemates: Marie, Ivan and Blake! Marie was a zebra, Ivan was a fairy and Blake was a witch-wolf (costume not shown)!
