Off to the beach!

Rachel, Jackie, Marie, Barbara and I went to the beach for the weekend. It was great fun of food, crafts, champagne, sand, sunshine, and schmoes.

Yay Craft Club!

Oh man, craft club was amazing this week. We had squash soup, buttermilk biscuits, salad and homemade pie. Heaven, pure heaven. We made masks this week in theme of Halloween, while watching the Office.

Punkin Carving!

Jordan said he would carve punkins with me! So we carved them up! He did an AMAZING job on carving his bat and I did a flamin' jack o'lantern. Fun times in ABQ!

Albuquerque-FOOD!

Eggy in a blanket, hawaiian chicken, tacos, peanutbutter cookies, meatloaf, salmon. MMMM. So one of my favorite things to do in Albuquerque is cook. A LOT. I sleep in and wake up and start on dinner.

Gosh I need to get on top of it-food photos are the best. Tacos last night were amazing. I even bought some chorizo which... was interesting to cook but, very tasty. This morning Jordan and I made punkin pancakes from TJ's. YUM! I realized I wanna make my own though-make Bisquick pancakes and add a 1/2 cup of Libby's or so. Tonight we're having a fish fry-John's parents are in from out of town and brought along some fish. Mmm, fish, homemade roles, green beans, chocolate pie, and baked potatoes. I'll try to take some photos-I promise.

Adventure Time Again!

I'm back in New Mexico, just got here yesterday. I watched Jordan play football with his squad last night and slept in until 11 today! Yikes. I'm off to visit the UNM Hospital and hopefully get incontact with someone helpful. Then I'm shopping for amazing tacos we're making tonight. More news to follow!

Family carvin' time was suuhweet! We had a great time. My punkin was taking a while to get emptied and then I found sis putting her punkin goo in mine! Oh sisters. Fun Friday Night!

The Electric Opera Company was playing at Mississippi Pizza on Alberta. Half the crowd and the band were from UP. I looked up on the stage to see a relative! Cousin Andrew Dummer plays bass and piano for the band. It was a lot of fun to see him perform. The band does rocking classical songs with lots of electric guitar and drums. They even had girls singing Vivaldi etc. They're number one song is Barber of Seville by Rossini.

Another Weekend at the beach!

My best friend Jackie and I went to the beach this weekend. My grandparents have a cabin in Pacific City. We lucked out on good weather so we walked on the beach and got a little sun burnt. We watched too many movies to count, drank too much wine and ate too many tacos. But we could have painted more nails, we could have gone for another walk on the beach, and we could have drunk more champagne. Maybe next time! :-) It was great!
